Battle of Britain Class 34081 named ’92 Squadron’ after the iconic spitfire squadron. In this shot the locomotive is standing in Grosmont station as the tender-first tail of a service from Pickering.
92 Squadron is painted in Southern Railway green. Personally, I prefer the darker shade of green from the BR days.
